Hi, I’m Abby — leadership development strategist, executive coach, keynote speaker, and professional storyteller (both on stage and in real life).

I help leaders communicate better, navigate emotional intelligence, and lead with clarity — using a mix of research, real-world experience, storytelling, and just enough humor to keep things engaging. I have a PhD in communication, spent many years teaching storytelling with data in higher education, and now work in Learning & Development designing custom leadership experiences for organizations.

I also produce and host a live storytelling event because I believe human stories are how people connect, trust each other, and make change actually stick. (Data matters too — but only when it’s wrapped in meaning.)

When I’m not coaching leaders or speaking on stages, I’m a mom of twin boys, designing elaborate family scavenger hunts that even I have forgotten where most of the prizes are, laughing at my own jokes, and trying to bring the same curiosity, warmth, and honesty into life that I bring into my work.

My approach is simple: smart, human, practical, and never boring.
